Alex is a 2018 graduate of Whittier College from Rocky Hill, CT. At Whittier, Alex earned the starting spot in the cage as a freshman and continued in that role for 4 years. After a successful career, Alex immediately started coaching and moved to Chicago to get into the club lacrosse. Alex has helped grow lacrosse across the state of Illinois. Cramer is currently a Director at Second City Lacrosse Club.

During his time at Whitter College, he was a 4-year starting goalie and appeared in the first round of the DIII 2016 NCAA Tournament. Alex currently is the All-Time Saver Leader and Single Season Save Leader at Whitter College.
