In 2020 Patrick Gaeger and the late Eric Mills founded Sweet Home Goalie Academy. Gaeger and Mills are both former goalies and very passionate about growing the sport of lacrosse in Illinois, but more specifically the goalie position. In 2021, Alex Cramer joined the staff and Gaeger, Mills, and Cramer have been working towards building the goalie position in Illinois ever since. 

 

Sweet Home Goalie Academy teaches goalies the position from the ground up focusing on all aspects of goaltending from positioning, speed & agility, hand/eye coordination, and lacrosse IQ.
